One of the best things about this hotel is its location. Situated in a nice area outside the main city, it offers a beautiful view of the rambla from the rooms with balconies. It's perfect for enjoying a pleasant morning with the windows open and taking in the refreshing sea breeze. Additionally, the hotel offers great value for money, with basic amenities and breakfast included in the price. The staff is also attentive and provides excellent service, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

All was fine, nothing to complain about.

The room was very comfortable and the hotel is attractive. Staying on the beach at Rio de la plata during the Fall is a great experience.

Stayed at a hotel across the beach, in a safe and residential area. Loved the location. The room was clean with cable TV and hot water. Great service from the front desk. The hotel offers currency exchange and provides an iron upon request. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. There are nearby restaurants and a supermarket. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and property.

The Hotel Cottage is a clean, comfortable small hotel with a great view of the Rambla and the River Plate - South Atlantic river-ocean. The Hotel Cottage is located in the fashionable Carrasco residential neighborhood with many Embassy residences and is only a 15-minute drive from/to the architectural wonder of Carrasco International Airport. There is a small parking lot across the street for guest car parking. The staff are friendly, polite and attentive.

I couldn't figure out how to turn on a floor lamp by the desk. I should have asked for help.

This hotel is in an excellent location close to the airport and with spectacular views of the beach. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with well-appointed bathrooms. The staff is generally friendly, and the hotel has great facilities -- including swimming pools, spas, and outdoor seating areas -- that provide plenty of ways to relax.

Some small details could be improved in terms of service, such as staff friendliness at the front desk.

The room was spacious and it overlooked the beach. It had a nice large balcony.

They said breakfast would be at 7:00 A.M. but was not fully served until 7:30. We had an airplane to catch and needed to eat early.

Great breakfast and friendly staff with free city map and umbrella to borrow. Walking distance to popular attractions and easy access to public transportation.

The room was outdated, small, and had a bad smell. The bathroom was dirty, causing us to request it be cleaned again.

Lovely traditional hotel, helpful staff, comfortable beds, clean, nice swimming pool, good breakfast.

This place was amazing! One of the best hotels I've stayed in, in a while. The value for your money was great. The quality and decor of the hotel was very classy. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. The facilities were enjoyable, especially the pool area. I didn't take advantage of the spa because it wasn't open on the weekend when I was there, which was unfortunate. The most amazing thing was the breakfast that was included, all I can say is wow! It was a buffet of more food than you need to eat, let's just say, for breakfast. I indulged. If I come through Montevideo again, I will definitely stay here.

The only thing I didn't like, is that the spa was not available on the weekends.
